Will Selby get a new hospital?
5:55am 26th January 2010
Hundred of jobs and the future of Selby's health service hang in the balance.
Plans for a new community hospital in the town will either be passed or rejected today by the Yorkshire and Humber Strategic Health Authority.
If given the green light, the site will be built using a 13 million pound Government grant.
In it's decision, the board will consider the financial position of North Yorkshire and York PCT, which has declined in recent months.
