Free Boiler Energy Scheme Launched in Easingwold
6:11pm 24th October 2013
Hambleton District Council is working with Yorkshire Energy Partnership – our local energy saving advice centre - to offer residents the chance to claim a replacement free energy-efficient gas boiler, as part of the new ‘Better Boilers’ scheme.
The offer is open to homeowners or privately renting residents who receive certain income-related benefits, with a gas boiler which is D-rated or below – in practice, any boiler more than 10 years old.
Cllr. Nigel Knapton, Cabinet Member for Customer Services at Hambleton District Council, is encouraging people to take up this offer whilst funds last:
“Installing an efficient boiler is the single biggest way for people to save energy and money in their homes – it will heat your house more efficiently, so will save you up to £300 per year on your gas bills”
To find out if you qualify for this offer or if you have any questions, contact Yorkshire Energy Partnership on 01904 545020, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
