Anne McIntosh MP calls for action
6:47pm 1st September 2009
She could be outed by her own political party tomorrow, but Vale of York MP Anne McIntosh continues to work for her local constituents.
She's calling on the government to safeguard maternity services in North Yorkshire and says expectant mums are being put at risk due to a shortage of midwives.
She wants extra funding given to trusts so they can employ more staff.
The Thirsk and Malton Conservative Association will meet tomorrow night to discuss Anne McIntosh's future.
