Selby Police Investigate Attempted Burglary in Carlton

Selby police are appealing for witnesses and information after an attempted burglary in Carlton.

At around 11pm on Tuesday 1 October 2013, the owner of a property on Almond Tree Avenue disturbed two young men trying to break into his garage.

The men were wearing dark tracksuits and one was wearing Adidas trainers with three bright orange stripes. Both men ran off when they were disturbed.

In particular, officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.

As a security measure, make sure that the windows and doors to your house and garage or outbuildings are secured at all times.
