(Updated 9:54pm 28th September 2013)
A boat is on fire on the River Ouse in York outside The Kings Arms pub on King's Staith.
Police say there is no immediate danger to the public but Ouse bridge has been closed to traffic due to a large amount of non-toxic smoke being produced because of large amounts of fuel and people are asked to avoid the area.
Six fire crews, from York, Acomb, Huntington and Tadcaster fire stations have been called out to deal with the fire. They are now believed to be damping down the fire.At one point firefighters had to be pulled back because of the severity of the fire.
It was initially believed there might be people on the boat but this was thankfully not the case.
Earlier people in York city centre were evacuated from nearby pubs and bars because of the smoke which the fire service says is not toxic.
Police say there is nothing to suggest the cause of the fire is suspicious and everyone on the boat is accounted for.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service tell Minster FM that they did send an ambulance but had no patients, however they did stay for a while to help support the fire service but no one has been injured.
Minster FM's David Dunning sent this video of the fire, which started at around 7.30pm.
Thom Wiseman (@thomwiseman on Twitter) sent us this dramatic photo of the fire.
UPDATE: David Dunning has sent this updated video at 9:34pm
