Four Garages Robbed in South Milford

Selby police are appealing for witnesses and information about a number of burglaries in South Milford.

They happened onSand Lane, South Milford in the early hours of Thursday 1 August 2013, when at least four garages, some of which were not locked, were entered.

It is not believed that anything was stolen.

PC Neil Soulby, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you were in the Sand Lane area around the time of the burglaries, I ask that you contact the police straight away as you may have information that could assist to identify those responsible.

“I also need to speak to anyone who may have been the victim of a similar offence and has not yet reported it to the police and ask them to get in touch.”

PC Soulby added: “I would like to remind homeowners of the importance of ensuring garages and outbuildings secure when not in use.”
