Malton police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of six Barbour jackets from a local department store.
The man entered R Yates and Sons on Railway Street at around 1.25pm on Monday 10 June 2013, and put the jackets – four in navy blue and two in red – into a bag and left the store without making any effort to pay for the items.
The jackets are valued at around £1,200 in total.
Officers are appealing to anyone who recognises the man in the images to get in touch and let them know who he is.
Police are also asking people to get in touch if they have been offered the items for sale.
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Jane Jones or Malton police.
