York Racecourse Launches Little Mixer Club
11:42am 24th June 2013
With fans of chart topping Little Mix eagerly awaiting for their idols to perform live at York Racecourse on Saturday 27th July, part of the electrifying Music Showcase Weekend, the team at the racecourse have put their thinking caps on to ensure that families are looked after, just as Perrie, Jesy, Leigh-Ann and Jade would expect.
Launching a special area to help younger fans enjoy their raceday and then the concert, York Racecourse has announced the ‘Little Mixer Club.’ Complete with great views of the action during the evening with its dedicated space by the stage and exclusive access to a lawn behind the stage during the day, this free upgrade is available to early bookers (subject to availability).
Cleverly created for the enjoyment of racegoers aged under sixteen and their families, the Little Mixer Club space will sell soft drinks and ice creams during the afternoon as well as providing seating, wet weather shelter and televisions that will show music and shows popular with racegoers aged under 16, during the day. It’s the perfect way to ensure all the family are entertained throughout the day. Located in the Bustardthorpe Extension, behind the music stage itself, nearby racegoers will find a choice of more substantial things to eat as well as betting and bar facilities for the accompanying adults. It’s a win-win area for everyone.
If you fancy a chance to win a meet and greet with Little Mix that afternoon, register for the Little Mixer Club when you purchase your adult tickets and the racecourse say you will be entered into a Free Prize Draw.
Speaking about the Little Mixer Club, Amy Swales, Marketing and Sponsorship Manager said “We understand that Little Mix have some younger fans so we wanted to create a special day for them and their parents. They are our VIPs that evening! The idea is to offer some space away from the hustle and bustle of the main betting ring and public bars. Younger racegoers will be able to enjoy the afternoon with their friends and family, perhaps watching some TV between the races. Mum and Dad can relax knowing that they have a reserved area to watch the concert at the end of proceedings”.
Entry into the Little Mixer Club is free of charge however the adults will need to have booked both their own admission in advance and to have registered for the Club. As places are limited, racegoers are encouraged to book quickly at www.yorkracecourse.co.uk A number of places have been allocated to customers who have already booked for what is proving a popular event, they are asked to contact to the Advance Bookings Office to register for their places on 01904 620911 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
