Bull Rescued From River Ouse

A bull was recsued from the riverbank of the River Ouse last night.
Firefighters were called just after 7pm to the animal, who had become stranded just off Ouse Moor Lane at Nether Poppleton.
The rescue took around an hour and a half, and the fire crews left the scene at around 8.30pm.
They say the bull was in a 'healthy condition' after it's rescue.
