400 Litres of Diesel Stolen from Lorry in South Milford

Selby Police are investigating the theft of diesel from a lorry that was parked in the north-bound lay-by of the old A1 at the Selby Fork Motel, South Milford.
It happened during the early hours of Wednesday 19 June 2013.
The driver of a red and white DAF lorry, who had pulled into the lay-by to sleep at 8.30pm on Tuesday, parked his vehicle alongside a number of other lorries.
He woke in the morning at 3.30am to find his fuel tank had been emptied of 400 litres of diesel.
Officers are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help the investigation.
In particular, they are appealing to anyone who had been travelling on this road in the early hours of the morning and seen anyone acting suspiciously around any of the lorries parked there overnight.
