About Dirty Hero
Dirty Hero is a brand new Obstacle Course Race hitting North Yorkshire in 2017. Take on 10 miles of truly challenging terrain, covered with 30 obstacles designed to test the inner hero in you. Can’t face 10 miles? There’s also a 5 mile route that will still test you to the limit!
The obstacle course is focused on camaraderie and each competitor will require the support of others to complete the event and gain Hero status. Enter as an individual or as part of a team, the ethos of the event means we all work together as one big team, all united with one goal in mind, to become a Dirty Hero.
Face obstacles you have never seen before and push yourself and others to achieve. Teamwork will be seen through helping people around you, a simple leg up over one of the higher walls, a helping hand to get a fellow hero out of the mud pit or even words of encouragement to somebody near you who is contemplating jumping into ice cold water or leaping from a platform.
Sure, you will be tested to your limit and pushed out of your comfort zone, but consider the satisfaction of conquering those challenges of overcoming your doubts and achieving something that truly is worthy of Hero status.
To complete Dirty Hero you’ll need to call on these inner Hero qualities, not only to get yourself around the course but to help others around you complete the challenge as well.
Don’t let excuses like I’m not fit enough or I don’t think I could get over that obstacle put you off, you can be sure there are others thinking the same thing, but with a little determination and courage you too can become a Dirty Hero in 2017.
