Next Saturday (20th January) sees one of 'Europe's finest rock guitarists' play Grewelthorpe Village Hall.

Graham Hunter was trained from the age of 10 on classical guitar. By the age of 15 he was playing electric guitar in local bands, very soon progressing to becoming a local rock guitar hero in his native north east of England. A member of Eric Bell's Thin Lizzy, in 2012 Graham was invited by former members of Gary Moore's own band to perform the songs of Gary Moore in shows around Europe. Graham was invited to join UK Legends in 2009 - see http://www.uklegends.com/graham-hunter.php.

For his solo show, Graham takes his inspiration from all the guitar heroes including Gary Moore, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend, Thin Lizzy and many more. Don’t miss this amazing guitarist who has travelled relentlessly with his outstanding show.

Tickets are available from the Hackfall Cafe at Grewelthorpe Village Hall, or online at www.wegottickets.com/event/423524. Doors open 7.30pm, on stage at 8pm.

Me & Mrs Fisher an independent family cafe, on Lord Mayors Walk, York, will be relaunching under a new name & a new direction...'True Story.'

William Shakespeare said " This above all: to thy own self be true" & we couldn't agree more. The last year has been incredible and we've loved every minute but, something didn't feel right for us and moving forward we knew it had to be 100% Plant Based 💚 Using organic & only the finest ingredients, True Story will continue to serve Vegan homemade, honest, nutritious and delicious food. We have great plans for the cafe to become a integral part of the community, a place of well being, education, entertainment, comfort and compassion.

On Sunday 21st January to celebrate our first birthday and relaunch as 'True Story' we will be holding a lil shindig. Its BYOB, open house all day and all profits from food and soft drink sales going to a local charity, Family Matters. There will be live entertainment throughout the day and evening with good vibes only. Goes without saying, we would love for you to join us.
