Griffo has graced the airwaves across Yorkshire for the last sixteen years.
Born in Wrexham in 1975, he knew from the age of four that he wanted to present on the radio. He remembers his parents listening to Noel Edmonds while he was getting ready for school and got hooked by what he heard.
That goal was achieved in 1992 at the age of 16 when his local station MFM offered him the evening show. 21 years later and he's still on the radio, recently joining the team here at 104.7 Minster FM.
Griffo is a nickname of course, which follows him from the 90s where all DJ's where given shortened names, his real name is Paul Griffiths.
He lives near York, and has a little baby girl due in August. He loves the social life in York and recently moved to North Yorkshire from Leeds. He spends a lot of his spare time at the York Grand Opera House, playing Tennis at David Lloyd, loving gadgets and tech and driving up and down the A64!
