Stokesley police are appealing for information following a theft from a car in the town.
It occurred in the early hours of Saturday 15 June 2013, when items were removed from an unlocked vehicle parked at a property on Meadfield Road, and then left nearby. The thieves returned to the house a few minutes later when they were disturbed by the home owner, before running off.

The only description of the suspects is that they were dressed in dark clothing and had their faces covered.
PC Blair Taylor, of Stokesley Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “if you witnessed any suspicious activity in the Meadfield Road area of Stokesley around the time of the theft, I ask you to contact the police straight away.
“I also need to speak to anyone who can help to identify either of the people responsible foe this theft and ask them to get in touch.”
PC Taylor added: “I would also like to remind owners to make sure that their vehicles are locked when they leave them, even if they are parked on their own property.”
Anyone who can assist officers with this investigation is asked to contact Stokesley police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Blair Taylor. Alternatively information can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
