Selby Thieves Face Strong Arm Of The Law

Selby police are asking for the public’s help following the theft of an exercise bench near the town.

It was stolen overnight between Thursday 6 June and Friday 7 June 2013, from an outside exercise area on old Lane, Hambleton, say officers, who add that the bench which is made of metal is used for weight lifting.

PC Caroline Ward, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you saw any suspicious activity in the Old Lane area around the time of the theft, I ask you to come forward and contact the police straight away.” 

Anyone who can help with this investigation is asked to contact Selby police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Caroline Ward. Alternatively information can be emailed to caroline.ward@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
