Bids for four major transport projects in North Yorkshire will be discussed today.

Top of the list is a twelve million pound scheme to improve the York to Leeds rail line through Harrogate.

Two others are to improve the A64 at Tadcaster and by the FERA offices in Sand Hutton.

Proposals to ease congestion on York's Outer Ring Road are also being put forward.
