Pocklington Gym Closed for Three Days After Water Leak

Due to a suspected water leak beneath part of the floor within the Tone Zone, Francis Scaife Sports Centre will need to close the gym for three days, from Tuesday, 28 to Thursday, 30 May.
The emergency closure will allow engineers to carry out investigatory works on a suspected fractured pipe and carry out any necessary repairs.
Management would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and anticipate the Tone Zone to reopen to customers on Friday, 31 May, subject to the completion of any repairs.
During the closure of the Tone Zone the centre will be providing the following additional classes:
Tuesday, 28 May 7.15-7.55am Spin
Tuesday, 28 May 4-4.40pm Spin
Tuesday, 28 May 4-5pm Kettlercise
Wednesday, 29 May 7.15-7.55am Spin
Wednesday, 29 May 4-5pm Circuit Training
Thursday, 30 May 7.15-8am Kettlercise
Adrian Walters, assistant leisure unit manager at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: â€œWe would like to apologise to our customers for this unforeseeable closure and assure them that every effort is being made to complete the repairs as soon as possible. We would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding.â€
The centre will also be closed on the Bank Holiday Monday.
