Police Investigating York Attempted Shop Robbery Arrest 15 Year Old Boys

Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery at a convenience store in York.
The incident happened at the Premier Stop Gap on Beckfield Lane at about 7.05pm on Thursday 25 April 2013.

However, the staff refused to hand over any money and they made off on foot.
Officers were alerted to the scene and arrested one suspect nearby at 7.25pm. The second suspect was arrested at 9.40pm.
Following questioning in custody, they were released on police bail to allow for further investigation.
