Man Attacked Outside Pocklington Pub

A man had to be taken to hospital with minor facial injuries after he was assaulted in an apparently unprovoked attack in Pocklington.
It happened at around 2.15am on Sunday 21 April outside the Flying Man pub in Market Street.
The 21-year-old Pocklington man was said to be standing outside the pub when he was allegedly approached by a man who he didn't know.
The man then struck the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground where he then kicked his head several times before leaving.
The victim was taken to York District Hospital for treatment but was not kept in.
Police are seeking witnesses and information in connection with the incident and ask that anyone with information contacts Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 240 of 21 April 2013 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
