High Speed Rail Links Could Benefit York

High speed trains carrying double the number of passengers on faster, more frequent journeys.
That's the message from rail groups campaigning for high speed rail. They say the current network is close to being full.
They also say that there could be five trains an hour to London instead of the two there are at the moment.
But the line is set to go past Church Fenton and Andrew Mason who lives there and is worried about the disruption building it will cause.
But York Council leader James Alexander says there are big economic benefits.
