Thirsk Jewellers Robbed

Thirsk police are appealing for information following a burglary at a jewellery shop in the town.
At around 7am this morning officers discovered the break-in at Pattison’s jewellers on Castlegate.
The suspects gained entry to the store through a glass panel in the door and stole several items of jewellery including silver bracelets, both bangle and chain style with coloured stones, silver rings, three pairs of 18 carat gold stud earrings and a pair of 9 carat gold hooped earrings.
PC Julie Kessell of Thirsk Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious over night on Monday 15 to Tuesday 16 April to get in touch.
“Also, if anyone is offered similar jewellery for sale or knows anything about the burglary, please contact the police without delay.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Thirsk police.
