7:40am 21st March 2013
Malton police are appealing for the public’s help following a burglary and theft of an off-road motorcycle in the town.
Police say it happened between Saturday 16 March and Tuesday 19 March 2013, from a shed at a farm on Town Street, Old Malton.
The thieves stole a Suzuki RM125 off-road motorcycle and a motorcycle helmet, say North Yorkshire Police.
The bike which does not have registration plates, is yellow and has the number 44 on the side, say officers who add that the helmet is open faced and blue with white flashing.
PC Paul Fenwick, of Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you can identify the thieves or have seen the bike since it was stolen I ask you to contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.
“I am also asking you to get in touch if you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the theft.”
Anyone who can help with this investigation is asked to contact Malton police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Paul Fenwick. Alternatively information can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference number 12130044483.
