Council tax in North Yorkshire won't be going up, but don't expect the roads to get any better.
The county council's executive has decided to take the government's council tax freeze grant.
Council leader John Weighell says drivers shouldn't expect the roads to improve any time soon.
He tells Minster FM what his priorities are:
The final decision on the council's budget plans will be taken later this month.
