New North Yorkshire Lunchtime Networking

Hambleton District Council

8:28am 31st January 2013

The first in the new series of ‘lunch break’ seminars kicks off today.

Already 17 business owners in Hambleton have signed up for the ‘lunch and learn’ sessions - which will see them able to meet with like minded businesses at the Evolution Business Centre in Northallerton.

Over the next three months the centre is hosting a series of sessions – if they prove to be popular they may become a regular fixture, say Hambleton District Council.

They add that the sessions will feature bite sized business briefings on a twice monthly basis as well as giving business men and women time to network, discuss business issues, and benefit from each other’s experience.

Hambleton District Council is working with the York, North Yorkshire, East Riding Enterprise Partnership and their partners to put together the seminars.  The first ‘lunch and learn’ seminar is today with a talk on Planning for Growth.  The following meetings will include sessions on marketing on a shoestring, social media and finance, say Hambleton District Council.

The seven sessions - which will take place every other Thursday from January 31 until April 25.  They run from 12 until 1.30pm and cost £5 each including lunch, say Hambleton District Council.
