Police Investigate Selby Tractor Theft

Police in the Selby district are appealing for information following a burglary and theft near the town.
It occurred at a small holding on Camblesforth Road between Friday 25 January and Tuesday 29 January 2013.
Thieves forced their way into a building on the site and stole a vintage grey Massey Ferguson Null tractor, valued at around £4,000.
PC Matt Harvey, of Eggborough Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am urging anyone who knows anything about this theft to contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.
“I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered the tractor for sale or knows of someone who has acquired one in unusual circumstances and ask them to get in touch.”
