Assaults Treated at York Hospital Mostly Due to Alcohol

Up to 8 in 10 assaults which are treated in York Hospital can be traced back to alcohol.
That's according to a new report from the Safer York Partnership, which says York Hospital sees around 60 cases every month.
The findings come as health bosses in North Yorkshire sit down for a crucial meeting later to discuss the county's 19-million pound NHS debt.
