Starbucks says there are no plans to close it's Coney Street store in York.

It's after the building was spotted on a property website with a label saying "Confidential - Staff Unaware".

Starbucks currently has five stores in and around the city.

A Starbucks spokesperson said:

“There are no plans to close the Starbucks store on Coney Street, however like many other retailers, and as part of the normal course of our business, we regularly review our stores to ensure they’re contributing to a sustainable business for the future. We are evaluating our estate in York and are always looking at other opportunities for premises in the area. There are currently five stores in York, in addition to Coney Street - at The Coppergate Centre, Stonegate, McArthur Glen Outlet and Monks Cross Shopping Centre.”
