Snaith Murder Inquiry - Renewed Appeal
10:06am 9th January 2013
Detectives investigating the murder of 27-year-old Dale Partington in Snaith are continuing to appeal for information from members of the local community about the death.
Humberside Police say that Dale was found dead outside an address on St Lawrence Avenue in Snaith on the morning of Sunday 16 December 2012. Officers say he had been stabbed.
Police say one man has now been charged with his murder and a further two people remain on police bail but add that officers are continuing their investigation to ascertain the full circumstances of Dale’s death.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Matt Hutchinson, said: “This is very much a live inquiry regardless of the fact that one person has now been charged with murder.
“I believe there are still people living in the local community who have information about what happened to Dale and they have not yet spoken to us and shared that information with us.
“I would urge anyone who thinks they know something that might be relevant to this investigation not to dismiss it and instead to come and speak to us and tell us what they know.
“We are still working hard on this murder and officers continue to conduct inquiries in and around Snaith and we need people to come forward.”
Police are asking anyone who has information that may assist detectives in this investigation to ring the Major Incident Room on 01377 208989 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
