Rock Crushing Machine Stolen in Selby

Selby police are investigating after a rock crushing machine was stolen from a scuba diving site.

Police say that sometime between 5.30pm on Friday 4 January 2013 and 7.40am the following day thieves broke into the Blue Lagoon compound on Northfield Lane, Womersley, through a set of electric gates.

They add that once inside they took an orange and black Tiger TC10 crusher valued at around £30,000.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time of the theft to get in touch.

Police are asking anyone who can help officers with their enquiries to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for PCSO Laura Simpson or Selby police.
