7:40am 5th December 2012
Big government spending cuts are expected to be announced by the Chancellor this lunchtime.
George Osborne is making his Autumn Statement later - but is expected to find £5 billion for transport, science and schools.
MP for York Outer Julian Sturdy will be hearing what the Chancellor has to say and he's hoping for three things.
The Chancellor's also expected to update his growth figures for the economy.
Susie Cawood from the York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce says boosting the economy has to be the top priority.
There are also rumours the planned 3p a litre rise in fuel duty could be ditched.
Roy Handley from A1 Haulage in York says that would help everyone.
