York Police Arrest Man After Car Theft

York Police have made an arrest following an appeal for information after a car was stolen in the city. A 24 year old man was arrested this afternoon.


North Yorkshire Police say that the vehicle was taken without the owner’s consent after a Rover 25 was stolen from Grange Lane, in Acomb on 19 November 2012.

Two local men both aged 23, had previously been arrested in connection with the incident say officers.

Anyone who can help officers is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for York Police.
