Man robbed in Clifton

York police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in the Clifton area of the city.
At around 8.10pm on Wednesday 14 November 2012, the victim, a local man aged 34, was approached by two men on the corner of Burton Stone Lane and Field View.
They walked together until they reached Haughton Road, where the two men attacked the victim and stole his iPhone.
The incident left the victim suffering from concussion. He also sustained cuts and bruises to his face and arms.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to contact them with information.
Detective Constable Kendra Bamber, of York CID, said: “This was clearly a very unpleasant experience for the victim who was fortunate not to be more seriously injured.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or was in the area at the time to contact the police or Crimestoppers with information.
“I would also like to hear from you if you know the men responsible for this incident.”
