The after effects of the worst flooding for a decade are still being felt in two North Yorkshire villages.
The direct route between Newton on Ouse and Linton on Ouse , near Easingwold, is closed because part of it has been washed away.
It means a 10 mile diversion for people in Linton using a country road or a toll bridge and the situation won't be resolved til after Christmas.
