Savile headstone removed at midnight

7:11am 10th October 2012
Sir Jimmy Savile's gravestone has been removed from the cemetery where he's buried
His family say it's "out of respect for public opinion".
The operation was carried out just after midnight.
It comes as London's Metropolitan Police has received several criminal allegations against Savile, including two of rape and six of indecent assault, primarily against girls aged 13 to 16.
Scotland Yard says it has more than 120 lines of inquiry following allegations of sexual assault.
They say their inquiries will go back more than 50 years and that there could be as many as 25 victims.
He was buried at Woodlands Cemetery in Scarborough last November, after his death at the age of 84.
