Crackdown on rural crime

A crackdown on poaching, hunting and rural crime in North Yorkshire is underway, as the police join forces with local Farmwatch Groups.
Deer, badgers, rabbits and foxes are all been found slain in recent months - a major problem according to Inspector Richard Abbott.
North Yorkshire police have revealed they had a high speed pursuit into West Yorkshire on Monday chasing an offender.
In the last week, 11 poachers have been arrested and upto 6 vehicles seized.
