Don't Bin Your Bunting!

12:00am 1st September 2012
Don't bin your bunting.
The North Yorkshire Moor Railway wants any decorations you bought for the Diamond Jubliee or Olympics this year.
It claims it'll use it to glam-up its stations from Pickering to Whitby.
The charity say it'll also keep unnecessary waste away from landfill.
Details from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway
The Queen's Diamond Jubilee may have been nearly three months ago, but before you bin your decorations the North Yorkshire Moors Railway is appealing now for any unwanted red, white and blue bunting.
Marketing Manager Danielle Ramsey explains:
"The idea is to collect any unwanted bunting over the summer in order to store it for use at a later stage at events held on the Railway. Many people forget that the Railway is a charity so any help we can get through volunteers, donations or bunting in this instance helps to keep the railway going."
Anyone who is interested in recycling their bunting and donating it to a good cause should simply email marketing@nymr.co.uk or post it to NYMR Bunting Appeal, Marketing, North Yorkshire Moor Railway, 12 Park Street, Pickering, YO18 7AJ.
