Midfielder Michael Brown has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 35 year old was offered a new one-year deal at the end of last season and has featured regularly in pre-season.
The former Sheffield United and Tottenham man made 26 appearances last season, the majority coming following the arrival of Neil Warnock as manager in February.
He was an ever present in Warnock's starting eleven until a red card picked up at Easter effectively ended his season.
Paul Green and David Norris have both been drafted in to strengthen the central midfield area, but Michael says he is more than up for the challenge.
"I'm delighted to sign the contract and get things sorted," said Michael.
"The gaffer has made a lot of changes over the summer and I'm looking forward to being a part of things. There's a great spirit here and everything has gone well in pre-season.
"The gaffer has brought some good players in, and there is plenty of competition, but I'm more than up for the challenge and will hopefully play a part in a successful Leeds United side."
Michael's squad number will also alter from 21 to 17.
