Burglary at a farm near Hutton-le-Hole

Malton police are investigating a burglary at a farm near Hutton-le-Hole.
It occurred between 9.30pm on Monday 30 July and 9.30am on Tuesday 31 July 2012, when burglars entered a number of outbuildings. The thieves stole tools, copper piping, scrap metal and vehicle batteries.
PC Louise Beck, of Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
“If you can help to identify the people responsible for this theft or witnessed any suspicious activity near Hutton-le-Hole, please contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
“I am also asking scrap dealers who may have been offered the stolen goods to report anyone offering them goods in unusual circumstances.”
