First successful prosecution against a landlord in York

The City of York Council has secured its first successful prosecution against a landlord who failed to manage his rented property in a suitable manner.
68 year old Michael David Grosvenor, from Heworth, pleaded guilty to four charges infront of magistrates, including fire safety and cleaniness issues.
He's been fined £1,000 and will have to pay costs of £766.52.
