More clues needed in a fatal crash

Police are hunting for more clues into a fatal crash on the A6108 between Leyburn and Masham ealier this month.

It happened on Saturday 14th November involving a grey Honda Civic and a blue VW. 

As a result of the collision Stephen Myers, the driver of the Honda, who was aged 28 and from Ripon, was pronounced dead at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.

His front seat passenger remains in the Friarage Hospital in a stable condition.

Traffic Sergeant Pete Stringer, of Skipton Road Policing Group, said: "I still need witnesses to come forward and I would ask that anyone who saw the manner of driving of either of the vehicles prior to the collision to contact me.”
