The information, Advice and Support service delivered in Selby by Ruth Card has been funded for 3 years by North Yorkshire County Council.
This was from a time limited grant and the contract will come to an end on 30th June 2012.
As a charity we are reliant on services being commissioned by social servicers/PCT's/commissioning groups and we are unable to fund delivery of services ourselves.
We will be entering an exit stratergy to close on June the 30th.
Stroke survivors and their carers may be directed to The Stroke Association's helpline on 0303 3033 100 or for our website click here for ongoing information and advice.
The service is still working with North Yorkshire County Council, Health Commissioning Groups and stakeholder Boards across the area to try and ensure improved support and provision for stroke survivors.
