York man's body found in India

The body of a man who went missing in India has been found.
Ian Turton was reported missing on Monday (21st May 2012).
The 42 year old disappeared whilist on a canoeing trip with a friend near Bangalore.
His body was discovered near the Cauvery River after extensive searches were carried out.
His friend is still missing, and the search for him continues.
Ian's family have been informed, and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office are offering consular support.
