18 year old charged with attempted murder in North Yorkshire

An 18 year old has been charged with attempted murder in North Yorkshire.
He's also accused of having of an offensive weapon.
On Monday a 27 year old was stabbed in Kirkbymoorside and is still in hosptal.
The teen will appear at Scarborough Magistrates court later.
North Yorkshire Police Statement:
An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon following a stabbing in Kirkbymoorside.
The charges relate to an incident in Weighbridge Close on Monday 30 April 2012.
The victim a 27-year-old local man suffered a puncture wound in the incident and was taken to Scarborough District Hospital for treatment.
Officers are continuing to search the local area for the weapon used in the incident..
The 18-year-old man is due to appear at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 2nd May 2012
