Man charged after suspicious fire in York

A breakthrough for North Yorkshire Police investigating a suspicious fire.
After a flat fire in Acomb on the 2nd of April, a man has now been charged with Arson.
The 39 year old will appear in court on suspicion of recklessly endangering life, with intent.
Burglary and theft charges will also be explored.
He's due at York Magistrates later.

Update 8.55am Wednesday 25 April 2012:
Detectives investigating a suspicious fire in the Acomb area of York have charged a 39-year-old man with two counts of arson.
The man is due to appear at York Magistrates’ Court today (25 April) charged with arson – recklessly endangering life and arson – with intent to endanger life. He has also been charged with burglary and theft.
The charges relate to an incident where a flat was set alight on Thoresby Road on Monday 2 April 2012.
