Postman Pat's missing in North Yorkshire

1:30pm 13th April 2012

Children at a York Nursery have been left devastated after their Postman Pat van was stolen.

It's been taken from a lay-by on the A64.

The former arcade amusement was often brought into Flaxton Children's Nursery for them to play with.

The kids have painted a poster appealing for its return.

The Postman Pat van was a former arcade amusement attraction donated to Flaxton’s Children’s Nursery, and had been placed on a trailer next to the busy route to promote the business.
The nursery’s bosses believe the culprits may have kept the trailer but dumped the van.
The theft is believed to have happened between last Saturday evening and Monday morning.
