Teenage Crash Victim In York Named

A teenager who died after being hit by a car in Deighton in York has been named.
18 year old Rosie Jean Missett from Leed, was hit at approximately 8.25pm Wednesday 4 April 2012, on the A19 near the White Swan pub.
Rosie was hit by a Blue Range rover, just after she'd gotten off an Arriva bus which was travelling towards Selby.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are looking for witnesses of the incident, Traffic Constable Paul Stamp, of North Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Group, said:
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision and ask them to contact the police as a matter of urgency. I would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen either the Range Rover or was a passenger on the bus, prior to the collision.”
