Community Stadium plans on show

The latest plans for York's Community Stadium are on show.

Oakgate Ltd are exhibiting them in the De Grey Rooms on Exhibition Square.

Minster FM understand many York City fans are showing their support for the project.

Before the Hayes and Yeading match, they'll be encouraging passers-by to view the new designs.

Background information of today's event (3rd March 2012)

York City Football Club supporters and proponents of York Community Stadium are to demonstrate their solidarity in support of the plans outside a public exhibition this weekend.
Before York City Football Club's home match against Hayes and Yeading on Saturday, the fans will make their way to Exhibition Square, where they will be joined bysenior figures in the Community Stadium project. A digi-van, and displaying audio-visual campaign material, will be parked at the site to provide extra presence.
The latest plans for the Community Stadium project are being exhibited at the De Grey Rooms opposite between 10am and 5pm. You will be able to view the plans and speak to attendees, who will be dropping in through the day.
The digi-van will move to Bootham Crescent at 1pm.
