Radical changes for the families of missing people.

A number of recommendations have been made to the Government, backed by the dad of missing York chef Claudia Lawrence.

Current laws prevent families of missing people from dealing with the personal affairs of thier missing loved ones.

This ranges from paying the morgages to cancelling credit cards and direct debits.

Claudia Lawrence has now been missing for nearly 3 years and Peter has found the laws difficult to tackle throughout her dissapearence.

Peter Lawrence spoke to Louisa from Minster FM about the campaign and what today means to him and other families in a similar position:
