Woman who died in East Riding crash is named

A woman who died in an East Riding crash on Friday has been named.

18 year old Rebecca Victoria Low was from watton, she was pronounced dead at the crash site near Holme on spalding Moor on Friday.

The other driver involved wasn't injured.

Humberside Police Statement:

Following a fatal road traffic collision on Friday 04 November 2011 on the A163, close to the entrance of Yellow Top Country Park, the driver who sadly died has been named by police.

18-year-old Rebecca Victoria Low from Watton, was the driver of a blue coloured Vauxhall Corsa. She sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.  

It is believed the Corsa was travelling on the A163 in the direction of Selby, when it was in collision with a black BMW travelling in the opposite direction.  

The driver of the BMW, a 49-year-old man from Kellington was not injured in the collision.

Police closed the road for a short time after the collision.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call Humberside Police call the new non-emergency number 101, quoting log 112 of 04 November 2011.
