Hit-and-run in York

A teenager's been knocked down in a hit-and-run in York.
The 19 year old, from Huddersfield, was struck by a car outside Reflex on George Hudson Street on Saturday night.
He was rushed to hospital with a head injury.
North Yorkshire Police are now reviewing CCTV footage. They've established that the vehicle has tinted rear windows and a registration number beginning with 'S59.'
Officers are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
PC Andy Pearson, of York police, said:
"Fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured in the collision but it clearly could have had a more tragic outcome.
"I am sure someone saw what happened - it was Saturday night in York city centre when there are always a lot of people around.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision may have information vital to the investigation and I am appealing to them to contact the police or Crimestoppers, as soon as possible."
